Falling far short of one Cinematical writer's brazen prediction that it'd pull in $200 million in four days (and, being a betting gal, I'm now kicking myself for not putting money on it), Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith grossed a mere $158.5 million this weekend. That was still more than enough to break a lot of records - although Spiderman's record for highest three-day total is still safe. Sith's sales represented about two-thirds of the North American box office; last week's number one, Monster-in-Law, showed surprising legs, dropping only 38% to gross $14.1 million. How many of those ticket buyers were plan-B-ing after getting shut out of Sith is anyone's guess. Full top ten as soon as it comes down the wires.
