As has been well documented, I have an ambivalent relationship with Netflix. I fully acknowlege that, for a lot of people, they're the best game in town; for me, not so much. A lot of this has to do with personal idosyncrasies: I'm an impulse shopper, and thus somehow by the time any given item on my queue arrives at my house, I no longer want to watch it; in my free time, I tend to mostly want to watch Forgotten Gems Of An Era Gone By, a genre in which Netflix simply doesn't specialize; and I end up keeping movies for months on end because I can't ever fucking remember I have them in my purse when I happen to be walking past a mailbox. So, Peerflix probably wouldn't solve most of these problems, but I'm a big fan of keeping the market as open as possible.
