A few weeks back the trades were reporting that Chris Tucker would most likely sign on for the planned third movie in the Rush Hour series. We reported yesterday that Spielberg and Lucas have both approved Jeff Nathanson's draft of the Indiana Jones 4 script. Now it appears that Nathanson's Rush Hour 3 draft wasn't good enough for Tucker. No word on what will happen to the film now, but Jackie Chan and director Brett Ratner both had previously signed on. Variety says that Tucker walked away from a reported 20 million dollar payday. Maybe he was offered a more challenging role in a better film? Nawww... I say replace him with Chris Rock, who is funnier and much less annoying than Tucker.
