Zero Cool, of Station 17 (and, apparently, a fellow Texan), reports that rentanime.com has just revolutionized/become the Netflix of anime. "Anime nerds and other losers" love the service, which has the neat-o feature of letting you buy the disc that's already spinning in your DVD player (they send you the disc's box on your next shipment). There is, of course, the standard two week free trial, and from what Zero Cool says, and I've observed, the site is slick although not entirely funtional yet. One can assume they'll toss in more neat rating/rental features along the way, being that anime is the bread and butter of many a computer geek. Hey, maybe they'll even start a dating service?
