Batman: Dead End was the fan film that started a surge in superhero fan films. Before Dead End the fan film genre mostly consisted of Star Wars parodies and lightsaber battles. Minutes after the film's debut in July of 2003 at San Diego Comic-Con, word quickly spread like a virus around the internet. With a $30,000 budget, Sandy Collora put together a theatrical-quality film that shows us Batman as he was always meant to be. Collora came from a big special effects background, and the effects in the film showed. In the end fanboys are treated to Batman vs. Joker vs. Aliens vs. Predator. And it ends with us wanting more where most fan films quickly overstay their welcome. If you haven't seen this, click quickly because you don't want to be the last one.
