Welcome to another addition of Script Sales. Here's where you'll be able to hear about new projects just bought, pitched or greenlit. Now you can know what's going on years before the movies hit the theaters....
  • DreamWorks bought a pitch based on a true story that was a segment on NPR’s This American Life radio show. The McCrearys follows a brother and sister who invent a new family in order to escape the clutches of their overbearing mother. The web of lies they spin becomes so complex that this invented family starts to take on a life of its own. Seth Bass and Jonathan Tolins are set to write the script. Landscape Entertainment's Bob Cooper will produce.
  • Exodus Film Group have greenlighted The Hero of Color City, a $5 million dollar CG animated film about a group of crayons who protect their homeland from an evil tyrant. J.P. McCormick and Rich Raczelowski wrote the script. Max Howard will executive produce.
  • Exodus Film Group will also be producing Amarillo Armadillo, another CG animated family filmabout the adventures of an oil prospector, an armadillo and a horned toad in 1920s Texas. Mickey Blue Eyes writer Robert S. Kahn wrote the script. Max Howard will executive produce.  The project is budgeted at $10-15 million.
