Retail sources have been told that Lucasfilm tentatively plans to debut Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith on DVD on November 1st, just in time for the Christmas. According to sources for ComingSoon.Net, we'll be seeing six different Star Wars DVD releases on November 1st. You'll be able to buy the final movie separately in both widescreen or fullscreen, or purchase a bundle pack containing all three prequels together. A six film complete set is also planned for release, but whether or not this is the "definitive release" of the complete saga is unknown. We know Lucas has announced plans for a full saga box set which would contain another full DVD of extra features. I'm sure an official announcement will be made as soon as Sith drops out of the box office.
