The OutsidersWarner Bros. is going to bring the S.E. Hinton novel The Outsiders back to the bigscreen. Director Francis Ford Coppola has changed up the beginning and ending, too, by adding a whopping 22 minutes to the film. TV Guide calls it a "brat pack" film, but we don't agree: this is classic 50s filmmaking in the tradition of Rebel without a Cause, so just because it's got Emilio Estevez, doesn't mean it's The Breakfast Club. Anyway, the film comes out September 9th, and then a few weeks later a special edition DVD will be released. You can totally bet we'll be first in line.
