- 20th Century Fox announced Hitman, an action movie to be based on Eidos Interactive’s videogame about an international assassin known, as Agent 47, who works for a mysterious organization dubbed the Agency. T Daybreak Productions’ Chuck Gordon and Prime Universe's Adrian Askarieh will produce. One Race Productions’ Vin Diesel will executive produce and star. No writer was announced, which probably means there's no script. In would also make some choice comments about Diesel's acting abilities but I don't want to start another Hayden Christensen thread.
- Warner Bros. Pictures bought the rights to the upcoming Doug Stumpf novel Confessions of a Wall Street Shoeshine Boy. The story centers on the lives of Wall Street workers as told through the eyes of a Brazilian whose job is buffing shoes at a major New York financial institution.
