I know you probably know me as the "geek writer on Cinematical." I like the genre movies and enjoy watching explosions anbd car chases while eating popcorn. I'm counting the days till Superman Returns and trying to get a group together to see Batman Begins again. Did I mention I've watched Revenge of the Sith god knows how many times on DVD... uh, I mean in the theater. So it may come as a shock to you that I'm a HUGE Cameron Crowe fan. He can't do any wrong if you ask me. The "Tiny Dancer" scene in Almost Famous makes me cry every time I see it. Did I just admit that to a worldwide readership?

So this October his latest film, Elizabethtown hits the screens. I'll be there opening night to see Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst in what looks to be Crowe's version of Lost in Translation. The poster was released earlier today - check it out. Harry over at AICN has seen 20 minutes of the film and heavily praises Bloom's performance, comparing him to a young Jack Lemmon.
