The original movie sets from Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds have been added to the Universal Studios Hollywood behind-the-scenes Studio Tour. Guests aboard the trams will be able to view a key scene from War of the Worlds, depicting a small town devastated by an elaborately choreographed 747 jetliner crash, dramatically surrounded by wreckage and debris. The new set has been added in between the dinosaur-destroyed research laboratory compound from Jurassic Park: The Lost World and the snow-covered town of Whoville from Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

The 45 minute tour is the best ride you can go on at Universal Studios Hollywood. I've always felt that Universal Florida is more of a small studio built into a giant theme park; Universal Hollywood is a giant movie studio that has a couple rides.
