We may be seeing another children's book series heading to the big screen in the wake of Harry Potter and Lemony Snicket. While on tour for the latest book in his Artemis Fowl series about fairies and mischievous criminality, Irish writer Eoin Colfer spoke about the still-pending film adaptation. Miramax and Tribeca currently own the rights to the film, but it appears to be stuck in limbo for the time being. As long as they're adapting book series, they should make a movie based on the Encyclopedia Britannica. That movie would have everything.
