SFX Magazine reports that Bruce Willis is "in line to play" Nick Fury Agent of Shield in the film adaptation of the Marvel comic book. Set up at Paramount, the comic book follows Nick Fury, the director of an international espionage organization called S.H.I.E.L.D, who are constantly going up against rogues like the wicked Hydra. The original comic character was created by comic legends Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. You may remember a horrible 1998 adaptation of the comic which starred David Hasselhoff. The film is in line for a 2007 release at the earliest.

Personally, I think they're starting to dig so deep into the comic book franchises that they've reached the area where the good is far less prevalent than the bad. Bruce, stay away - you're better than this.
