I think we can all agree that DVDs are infinitely better than videocassettes, but what about the guy who brought us those movies on tape in the first place? It turns out he hasn't gone anywhere, and is in fact putting his focus (quite reasonably) on the DVD market. Andre Blay, who convinced 20th Century Fox in the late 70s to make some of their back catalog available on videocassette, is now focusing on marketing DVDs of originally material, rather than trying to acquire the rights to major studio product. So far Blay has produced documentaries on the Three Stooges and Fatty Arbuckle, with more to follow.
