AfterworksSeveral artists from Pixar are joining forces to create a comic book company called E-Ville Press. The name is short for Emeryville, the California town where Pixar headquarters is located. Their work will debut at next week's Comic Con in San Diego (tables E3 and E4). Most of the artwork was digitally generated, with corresponding blogs online.

On sale at the convention will be Afterworks (an anthology by Louis, Simon, Robert, Nate, Max, Kevin, Sanjay, and Jay Shuster); Colossus (new expanded version by Mark Andrews), about what happens when a knight's soul is trapped in a war machine's metal body, and faces a kingdom's evil paladin; Little India (by Sanjay Patel, now in its second print run), Dumping Grounds (a collection of sketches and artwork by Louis Gonzales), and Rose and Isabel by Ted Mathot follows a story of two sisters who join the American Civil War to save their three brothers. There will be lots of other goodies as well, such as t-shirts and original art. [via BoingBoing]
