In celebration of the news that Factory Girl is back on (and this time starring an actress who actually looks a great deal like the film's subject), here's a shot of Andy Warhol and his muse, Edie Sedgwick (and that looks like Gerard Malanga over there on the right, but don't quote me on that). Edie starred in numerous Factory productions during her tenure as Warhol's arm candy, but her most seen film is probably Ciao, Manhattan, starring Edie as a down-and-out heiress named Susan Superstar (so, essentially, playing herself). She also shot a segment of Warhol's one great film, Chelsea Girls, that has been cut out of most prints.
