In a brief little interview The Chumscrubber producer Bonnie Curtis talks about the movie and its stance on behavioral drugs, and how audiences may view it differently in the light of renewed debate over them. Scenes which were intended as surreal when they were filmed a year ago are now taking on decidedly "real" qualities. Also, producers would like you to know that despite past connections to Tom Cruise, any similarities between this movie and Cruise's hatred of behavioral drugs are purely coincidental. That's certainly a load off my Paxil-ridden mind.
