I totally would have taken this course if they had offered it at my college. The University of Washington is offering students a course in horror films. Students get to view classic and contemporary horror flicks in order to learn about "conventions, institutional history and ideology." I took a few film courses in college, and fondly recall my professor forcing us to watch over and over again the scene in Psycho II where a woman is stabbed in the mouth and though the back of the head. What the hell was everyone else doing, reading Kierkegaard? Bunch of losers. Be sure to scroll down for the story.
