As Japan recognizes the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II, more and more anime films based on the war are being released across the country, which, I can only assume, means we'll be seeing them here in the states soon enough. Oddly enough, the movies are being made by folks who weren't alive during the war, and at least one which portrayed the bombing of Nagasaki had to have certain scenes redone due to inaccuracies. Other films based on life during the war are aimed at decidedly younger audiences.
