A young, wheelchair-bound boy with cerebral palsy and autism was asked to leave a theater in Wallkill, NY this weekend. His crime? "Laughing too loudly". The boy was watching March of the Penguins with his family, and enjoying the film, when a theater worker approached his mother and asked her to remove her son from the theater. Gina Pratti said she would ask her son to quiet down, but the manager insisted that the son be wheeled out of the auditorium. Bafflingly, the rest of the family was told that they could stay, as long as the disabled son got the hell out. Is this not the saddest thing you've ever heard? Or, at least, the saddest thing you've ever heard happening at a screening of a nature documentary?
