jossAfter the first Serenity screening sold out in hours, the powers that be at the Edinburgh Film Festival scheduled two more screenings and hired additional crowd control to manage the rowdy Jossheads. The entire cast showed up in Edinburgh, which is pretty kickass. While there, star Nathan Fillion confessed that his performance was colored a bit by Harrison Ford's Han Solo. In fact, Fillion said, "What I do is not so much an homage to Harrison Ford, as copy him." That, also, is awesome. For his part, Whedon enjoyed the Edinburgh premiere because the people in LA and NY who get to see everything first got denied on this one. Again, sort of cool.

Unfortunately, the movie is maybe not as good as the attitude of the cast and crew. But we only have to wait another month or so before we get to go find out for ourselves.
