Remember when Dancer in the Dark first hit Cannes, and everyone was talking about how Bjork had given the best performance of the year, and how she was going to be this big movie star? Even if she hadn't thrown a television set at Lars Von Trier and vowed never to appear in a film again, I doubt anyone would have let her after the fashion debacle that was her appearence at the 2001 Oscars. Now the infamous swan dress, the cause of much drubbing of the Icelandic pop star by the Hollywood press, is going to a good cause: Bjork has donated it to a charity called Oxfam, which is going to sell it on eBay. Who do you think is going to by this thing? Bjork's Number One Superfan? Matthew Barney's stalker? Golden Palace Casino? My vote is with the latter.
