Variousoutlets are buzzing that Dreamworks has officially greenlit Old School 2. Todd Phillips directed the original film, and as soon as he wraps the Billy Bob Thornton-starrer School For Scoundrels, he and Scot Armstrong will allegedly start writing the sequel script. As Empire points out, it's hard to imagine where Phillips plans to go with this. Does everybody have new lives and new wives that they need new respite from? Is Ellen Pompeo gonna break away from Grey's Anatomy to start a thirty-something sorority? Actually, none of the original cast has commited to the follow-up – so right about now, we're just hoping this isn't going to be Old School 2: The New Class.
