CinemarkTheater chain Cinemark is offering until further notice a reduced $4.00 movie ticket to any moviegoer in Louisiana and Mississippi affected by Hurricane Katrina, in what they are calling their "Not-At-All Crass Take Your Mind Off Your Missing Relatives And Shambles-Of-A-Life""Special Katrina Relief" ticket price. In addition, starting yesterday, the special pricing will be extended to moviegoers in the greater Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth markets, to where many Katrina victims have been relocated.

Is this a "good neighbor" practice, shameless profiteering or just a company trying to get through just like everyone else? Anyone in the affected areas have an opinion on this?
