RussellAt the Venice Film Festival launch of Ron Howard's shamefully underappreciated Depression drama, Cinderella Man, star Russell Crowe (with co-star Renée Zellweger at his side) had some rather pointed words for America. He told the BBC, "A really important part of making this film is to remind America that the current abundance they are experiencing is not an absolute right." Crowe is said to have then thrown a telephone across the Atlantic, hitting America square in the face.
