CarsJim Hill Media reviewed (quite favorably) this week's DVD release of Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition, which should be of interest to fans of animation, Pixar and Disney alike. Besides being chock-full-o' features, the double platter features a look at Pixar's 2006 release of Cars, and the December release of the fattened-up Toy Story 2 DVD promises even more of one.

I'm a Pixar fan (and 20+ year Apple loyalist), and after having watched the trailer a couple of times, and I must say, I'm a little worried. Pixar has gone 6-for-6, starting with Toy Story in 1995 to 2004's The Incredibles, and this one looks, well, plain. Not particularly funny or visually interesting. Unmemorable. Will this be the movie that tanks and makes distributor Disney re-think wanting to keep wanderlusting Pixar in the fold? I would love to be wrong about this.
