Robert Altman, who turned 178 this year, will be directing Arthur Miller's play Resurrection Blues for Kevin Spacey's Old Vic theater in London. I'm not sure if Paul Thomas Anderson will also be along this time, but probably not. In the meantime, Spacey will be spending less time with the theater, lest we all suffer from Spacey overload, which is not as sexy as it sounds. At any rate, Resurrection Blues was actually in the process of being rewritten by Miller before his death last year. This came as a shock to me, because, frankly, I thought Arthur Miller had died a long time ago. Shows what I know about dead playwrights.
