Because I'm an adult, I will refrain from the sexual remarks crying out to be made about that headline, and will instead simply report that Paramount is dying for Leonardo DiCaprio to play Teddy Roosevelt. (I will, however, point out how much Leo looks like Nick Carter in this picture. How odd is that?) To that end, they've bought the rights to Edmund Morris' surprise best-seller Theodore Rex, which details TR's rise to power. In Paramount's ideal world, DiCaprio would be directed in the project by his constant companion, Martin Scorsese. Since the pair have already done three films together (Gangs of New York, The Aviator, and The Departed), it's certainly reasonable to think they'd be interested in this one as well. Always optimistic, Paramount already has Nicholas Meyer (Fatal Attraction) working on the screenplay.
