HitchcockClear some shelf space, Hitchcock fans, because on October 4th, Universal will drop the H-Bomb: a 15-disc box set featuring 14 Uni-produced films, a 36-page collectible book and one disc of bonus materials. The films included (and all have some sort of bonus feature) are Saboteur, Shadow of a Doubt, Rope, Rear Window, The Trouble With Harry, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Vertigo, Psycho, The Birds, Marnie, Torn Curtain, Topaz, Frenzy and Family Plot. The release coincides with the release of the Emmy-winning "Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Season One" and a 39-film Alfred Hitchcock film festival on Turner Classic Movies. For more information, check out the Collection's official site.

I did the math, and with an SRP of $119.98, that's under $8.00 a disc, and that's if you pay full retail (and I've found it under $90 delivered). A no-brainer for fans and lazy gift-givers alike.
