kkIn the wake of the mysterious "technical reasons" behind the disappearance of Tony Scott's Domino from the Montreal Film Festival (Karina's got the real story), KeiraKnightley fans in Montreal ran amok, frantically renting Bend it Like Beckham and putting her picture up in their lockers with frightening intensity. Thankfully, the chaos has ended:  the Festival will now close with Pride and Prejudice, another (albeit bounty hunter-free) new Knightly flick. Montreal city fathers breathed a huge sigh of relief at the announcement, as did closing night ticketholders.

Pride and Prejudice, which also stars Matthew MacFadyen, Donald Sutherland, and Judi Dench, was fairly well received in Toronto when it premiered there a few weeks ago. The film is due to open in November.
