The New York Film Festival threw a black-tie blow out last night at Tavern on the Green, after the Opening Night premiere of George Clooney's generally well-received second film, Good Night, and Good Luck. Making the rounds in a dress artfully accessorised so as to not scream "I cost $30 at H&M", I talked to J. Hoberman about Breakfast on Pluto (he hated it) and accosted Michael Musto at the dessert bar. I was about ready to give up the schmoozing when I heard that George Clooney was floating around inside. I didn't track him down until his security detail started clearing a path for him to leave – at which point I quickly gathered around and tried to get my camera in his face. This is picture #8; trace my stalk trail after the jump.
