Coming Soon has the scoop on some more of those delicious bonus materials to be found on the November 1st DVD release of Revenge of the Sith - and boy are they special. One of the more elaborate extras is a newly produced feature called Within a Minute, which chronicles exactly how much work went into a 49-second sequence of the film. Creating this segment from over 600 hours of actual footage almost makes me want to see a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of the behind-the-scenes documentary. Actually, when you think about it, something like that would probably include five guys in a room, scrolling through footage, pissed off and desperately needing a bathroom break. I'll pass. Fans will also get a look at some deleted scenes that will help feed their Star Wars addiction even more. One such scene will depict Yoda's arrival on the planet Dagobah where, in Empire Strikes Back, Luke is sent for some much-needed Jedi training. Also on the DVD will be a newly recorded commentary featuring George Lucas and some of his more important minions as well as two featurettes: The Chosen One will chronicle Anakin Skywalker's transformation into that guy in the black suit and It's All For Real will show off the stunts and effects that went into Anakin and Obi-Wan's climactic lightsaber duel. By calling the featurette It's All For Real, I wonder if the producers are trying to send a message to those fans who were dissatisfied (too much CGI) with the way the prequels turned out. Or maybe it's just their way of convincing themselves that the truckload of money steamrolling in is not at all fake.
