Tim Burton wins the award for my favorite quote of the day with this little gem: "There's nothing wrong with CGI and computers, but studios rely too heavily on that. I hope things like this will make them more open to other types of animation." Burton is referring, as you probably guessed, to his stop motion picture Corpse Bride, which, like The Nightmare Before Christmas, used the same painstaking and time-consuming animation method. Really, Tim? You mean it doesn't necessarily matter what you use to create the movie as long as the movie is good? It's too bad others haven't been able to grasp that concept.
