Richard ScrushyThe New York Times reported this morning that lawyers for Richard Scrushy (who must feel naked without at least two of them by his side at this point) have been meeting with producers. Come on, people! Do we really need a movie about a guy who was charged with $2.7 billion in accounting fraud and walked because he kept saying "But I didn't know"? What angle could the lawyers possibly be selling here? "He has such nice things, and people love to look at luxury cars, and nice homes, and boats and stuff. And it was such a Hollywood moment when he got acquitted, and the prosecutors started crying! Plus, that Enron movie did really well - face it, people love fraud."

Somebody, please make it stop.
