• Hyde Park Entertainment is working on an adaptation of John Milton's epic poem, Paradise Lost. No casting has been announced yet, but if you want to start throwing around ideas for young actors to take on Adam and Eve, we're into it.
  • Jumping back to yesterday for a second: Jill Goldsmith does a solid analysis of the fall of Blockbuster. Here's a fun fact: the 'Buster (okay, I promise I'll never type that again) had a chance to buy Netflix for $50 million. They, of course passed. What's the 'Flix worth today? Oh, about $1.4 billion.
  • Edward Norton and Brad Pitt are teaming up for the furthest thing from a Fight Club sequel imaginable: they'll produce an HBO miniseries on Lewis and Clark. Though Norton will direct at least one episode, neither is likely to star.
  • It's a Paltrow Party! (On a side note, does anything sound like less fun?) Anyway: Gwyneth is set to star in The Good Night, a comedy to be written and directed by her brother Jake. British actors Simon Shaun of the Dead Pegg and Martin "The Office" Freeman will also star.
