News keeps trickling out about all the exciting (Clive!) projects that the Weinstein Brothers have in store for us, now that they finally have their own
toys company. The latest news is that, when Harvey and Bob broke up with Disney, they also took some rights with them: 15 formerly Disney-owned properties are now in Weinstein hands (the only name we officially know is Halloween). Since the rights were presumably obtained with an eye to remakes, this is either really exciting or totally horrifying news depending on exactly how protective one feels about Disney's considerable back catalog. Tron2007, anyone?
