Roberto BenigniIn the middle of a live interview (with him, thankfully) on a prime-time Italian news show, Oscar-winning actor/director Roberto Benigni took off his shirt and "draped it over the newscaster's shoulders." That's pure class, that is. Combine the wildly inappropriate semi-nudity (which, let's face it, was probably just not very hot) with the fact that he also wandered into shot as the newscast began to announce that media mogul Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi had resigned, and I'm sure Italians will be positively flocking to Benigni's movie. That's what he was doing, you know - promoting his new film. Uh huh.

I mean, what the hell? Just imagine, for a second, if a politically-active American actor had done that sort of thing. Tim Robbins say. The guy would be freaking pilloried for his behavior - and whether you agree with his politics or not, he'd deserve it. So why is this sort of crap considered "charming" when Benigni does it?
