William DafoeWilliam Dafoe and his wife Giada Colagrande have admitted that sex scenes between the two in their new film Before It Had A Name were uncomfortable and strange. The film, which was also directed by Colagrande, is a psycho-sexual thriller set in an upstate New York mansion and features quite a few sex scenes between the two. Dafoe says the difference between on-screen and off-screen intimacy is quite vast and can lead to some awkwardness on the set, even when the subjects are married.

As always when someone complains about how uncomfortable the filming of sex scenes can be I revert to my standard response: Next time, say no to the part.
