Producer Tony Adams, the man behind Blake Edwards (who is the man behind 10, Blind DateS.O.B.and other classic postmodern works of farce) died this weekend in Los Angeles. Aside from running Edwards' production company, he worked extensively on Broadway and as a television producer. Adams was only 52, and the stroke that killed him was apparently very much unexpected. Adams got started in show business by working as an assistant to director John Boorman on the set of Deliverance.
