As Libertasremindsusadinfinitum, Townhall.com is covering the Liberty Film Festival. By the way, if Cinematical ever threw a film festival, we'd probably show up all frazzled and coffee-stained and not nearly as glamorous-looking as Jason and Govindini in the picture at left. It's always a shock when bloggers step out from behind the laptop and are all attractive and stuff.
Our friend Aaron Dobbs has been doing the Gothamist Weekly Movie Guide for a few weeks now, and though we think he's doing a great job, he's asking for advice. "There is so much in NYC every week -- and so much good stuff -- that I
like to include as much as I can without overdoing it and without being
boring. I have no idea if I've been succeeding -- I just know that it
apparently needs to be shorter."
The WOW Report applauds Kirsten Dunst and Patricia Arquette's common decision to hold on to their semi-bad teeth.
Matt Dentler reminds us that although SXSW is five months away, our best friend no longer lives in Austin, so it would be a really good idea for us to start looking for hotel rooms. We, in turn, remind Matt Dentler that if he's doing another panel on film blogs and needs a speaker, we're more than available.
We met Paper Magazine's David Hershkovits at a dinner party last week and forgot to email him to remind him to read Cinematical. So now we're linking to his post on the Wal-Mart documentary, in hopes that he'll notice. Because we like him, his magazine, and its blog.
