Chris over at Daily Blah has some words about the irony of Disney's upcoming Chicken Little corresponding with the recent avian flu scare. He asks, tongue firmly in cheek, if audiences already instilled with a deep fear of chickens really want to go to the cinema to see an animated one on the screen. Well, if the movie is about a chicken who gives everyone avian flu, then no, probably not. Despite not having seen the movie, I'm guessing it's not about that. Of course, the punchline to all of this is that Chris received a Chicken Little bobblehead from Disney, one that just happened to be made in a factory in China. Harmless chunk of cheap plastic, or ominous harbinger of doom?
(Picture shows a Chicken Little bobblehead safely quarantined).
