• Kevin Smith apologizes for his lack of updates – "but we’ve been pretty fucking busy." He compensates by giving the fans lots of new pics from the set of The Passion of the Clerks. The one at left is captioned, "Dave talks camera gibberish and I look on, befuddled…"
  • Director Alex Cox (he of Sid and Nancy infamy) has a blog, and on it, he describes the problem with allowing potential employers to put you up for the weekend: "Hotels like this terrify me because they're so fucking expensive. Every time you approach a door, some guy in a top hat opens it for you and you have to tip him ten bucks - whether you want to go through the door or not!"

  • Mark K-punk points towards Pleasure, Perversion and Death, a new book in which Patricia McCormack looks at Italian Horror from "from a Deleuzoguattarian perspective". "I haven't read it all," Mark writes, "But I'm hoping that there's mention of the shark vs zombie scene in Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters." What? As far as F-words go, Fulci is as dirty as it gets.
