Kevin C. Tofel is the number one set of fingers behind our brother blog HDBeat. His father's uncle was Edmund Trzcinski, the co-author of the play Stalag 17, which formed the basis for the Billy Wilder film. Later, Bing Crosby's production company developed a little TV show called Hogan'sHeroes – and Trzcinski promptly took that company to court over intellectual property. In this podcast interview, Ron Tofel talks about how his uncle's experiences were fed into the play, and then the film, and how Bing Crosby ripped it all off.
