While we were sleeping in this morning, our sister blog, HD Beat, totally scooped us today on Sony's first Blu-Ray movie -- and the movie is (drumroll, please)...Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle? Yup, that's right. Out of all the movies they could have picked for the First Ever Blu-Ray movie, the suits at Sony decided that the best way to showcase Blu-Ray is by giving viewers the high-def cleavage of Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but really, aren't there a lot of movies that would have been better choices for the first Blu-Ray film?
HD Beat's Kevin Tofel would have preferred The Matrix, and I gotta agree with him that would have been a much better pick: Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss kicking ass in high def would be much better than three chicks shaking their bootys in bikinis. What films do you want to see in Blu-Ray? Give us your picks!
