Cinescape recently shared some details about an upcoming Tom Arnold (yeah, that’s right, Tom Arnold) movie about some cavemen. The details so far:

Adam Rifkin has cast David Carradine, Ali Larter, Tom Arnold, Talia Shire and Hayes MacArthur to star in HOMO ERECTUS: A CAVEMAN COMEDY.

The film centers on Ishbo (Rifkin), a philosophical caveman who loves Fardart (Larter), but she only has eyes for Ishbo's studly, dimwitted brother, Thudnik (MacArthur). Carradine and Shire will play Ishbo's parents, while Arnold will play Rog, a gay caveman.

Apparently, there are some rumblings about this being a remake of the 1981 Caveman movie. I don’t know if it’s intended to be a remake, or if it is pulling a Michael Bay. Either way-does this movie have any appeal to anyone? Is Tom Arnold really a selling point these days? It seems to me like he’s more of a liability than anything…
