Amber TamblynI know that very few people watched Joan of Arcadia (hence the heartless canceling, just as Joan was about to DO BATTLE WITH THE DEVIL HIMSELF - who, by the way, is now escaping from prison), but I can't be the only person who has missed getting to see the incredibly talented Amber Tamblyn on a regular basis.

There's good news for those of us jonesing for a Tamblyn fix, though: in addition to her two forthcoming films (Safety Glass and Stephanie Daley), she has just signed on to costar in an indie psychological thriller, Spiral. Joining her in the cast are Joel David Moore and Zachary Levi (Hey, I said it was an indie film - what do you expect, George Clooney?). Moore, who co-wrote the movie with Jeremy Danial, will also share directing duty, this time with Adam Green. The movie will tell the story of Moore's character (the always reliable "reclusive telemarketer"), whose friendship with coworker Tamblyn awakens "disturbing feelings from his past threaten to lead him down a path of destruction." Yikes. According to Moore, the movie has "a Hitchcockian feel...and a little blood thrown in."
