What exactly does it mean when a movie calls itself "the movie event of the year?" I saw a commercial this morning for a new movie being released soon, and it called itself "the movie event of the year." It's a big, epic adventure story, an iconic story, with lavish special effects.
No, it's not that one. It's Narnia. So tell me: can Narnia really be considered the "movie event of the year" when that other movie is being released the same year, and around the same time? I'm sure it's a good flick but...I mean, did they change the meaning of the phrase "movie event of the year" while I wasn't paying attention?
