Lillo BrancatoLillo Brancato Jr., who made his film debut at just 16 as Robert De Niro's son in A Bronx Tale, is in critical condition today after being shot while breaking into an empty Bronx house. According to wire reports, Brancato, who was unarmed, was breaking into the house with another man when "a gunfight erupted." An off-duty cop was killed in the fight and Brancato was hospitalized after being shot twice.

After his acclaimed performance in A Bronx Tale, the Columbian-born actor continued to find supporting work in films such as Crimson Tide and Enemy of the State and, in 2000, landed a reoccurring role on The Sopranos (which ended memorably when Tony shot him).
