Sean Connery supposedly retired from the movie business last year because he can't take the "idiots" working in Hollywoood, but now he's being called back into action. George Lucas told Access Hollywood that Connery is needed to reprise his role of Henry Jones in Indiana Jones 4. "We are writing him in whether he wants to do it or not," said Lucas, who is serves as executive producer on the franchise. The two were united Thursday night, along with Harrison Ford, at AFI's Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony, where Connery was honored. Hopefully Lucas had a chance to
discuss the film get down on his hands and knees and beg Connery to return, because it is certainly a special occasion that needs to happen. I personally think that Connery and Ford's pairing in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusademade the movie the best in the series, and I'd love to see it continue in the fourth installment.
But if Connery can't be convinced, perhaps Darrell Hammond would like to jump in?
