If anything can take the mojo out of a visually stunning scene, it's reading a description on paper, complete with stage directions. For example, there's a scene in Contempt in which Brigitte Bardot's character suddenly realizes that her husband is basically selling her to advance his career, and it's perfect -- the look on her face, the camera movement, the editing ... it's the sort of movie moment that makes your heart stop for a second. On paper, though, it'd look sort of like this: "Camille turns her head. Brief flashback of earlier in the day. Different outfit. Cut to present. Camille still there." Yawn.

Anyway, now that I've poo-pooed the whole concept, wanna read a description of the first Spider-Man 3 teaser?! Sure you do! For those of you so desperate for Spidey news that you don't care about destroying the magic (What, have you no soul?), an AICN tipster had put together a millisecond-by-millisecond breakdown of said teaser, all 1:38 of it. I don't want to spoil anything for you, but it involves both kissing and a glimpse of that much-discussed black suit. Those of you who don't want to read have just a few more weeks to wait; as we know by now, the teaser will run with Superman Returns.
